Finalizing arrangements, dates, etc. for Broadus's visit to preach for Spalding. Concerning the recent death of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary professor William Williams, he writes: "Bro. Low succeeded in getting free passes for the Williams family all the way through & half rates for their articles of freight, all the way through." "The harvest is very great & the laborers very few in Athens, Ga. for Munday [?] arrived yesterday, bot [sic] a new suit of clothes out & out & passed on yesterday-- en route to that part of the moral vineyard. In other words, his give is over there."
